He was in the mining industry since 1944 working at Steep Rock Iron Mines during its development, right up until his passing as President of Fern Elizabeth Gold Exploration. John G. Kelly passed away on May 6, 2021. He joined CIM in 1970 and b ecame a Life Member in 2020. He was a member of the Canadian Mineral Processors Society.
