I have an older model (1994) bought in general ignorance. Current model is much improved in the mill function but the lathe is not much more than a fancy wood lathe. There is no half nut or thread dial. Feeds and threads are set using sets of gears and there is no QC gear box. Slowest speed is 120rpm, dicey for threading.
