About the Atlas Horizontal Mill . . . the spindle is threaded 1x10 with an MT2 taper -- the same as later model Atlas/Craftsman 6" lathes. So chucks, faceplates, boring heads and milling cutter holders are readily available on eBay and from various vendors of new items. Clausing still sells many parts for the old Atlas/Craftsman machines.

Up for sale is an Atlas MFB bench top horizontal milling machine S/N 6312. It is in great shape and works well. There is some worn spots on the paint. The table is in good shape with no drill holes but some minor dings. The Change-O-Matic power feed and the trip lever work. The back gears work. There are no chipped or broken teeth that I can see.
197. Oct 6, 2014. #1. My uncle had this Atlas MF horizontal mill covered up in his heated garage for many years. He finally agreed to sell it to me today. Everything seems to work fine on it, and I believe it has had very little use. Only real issue is that it has a 7/8" arbor, so tooling is a bit more difficult to find than if it was 1".
