Strife's amazing weapon upgrading guide says gold ore can be found in this temple, but I was either extremely unlucky or it's simply not on the bridge. When I started using this method, I needed around 9 pyrite, 12 fluorite, 1 meteorite and 3 crystals. I got them all in around 45 minutes or so. Hopefully this helps out anyone seeking those items.
